My good friend Courtaney died early sat morning in a car crash. I have been very weird, I cant seem to grasp it. It wont make it threw my head for me to understand that I wont ever get to see her again. I'm so sorry hon! I know how hard it is to get a grip on things when you lose someone unexpectedly. I am, as ever, here for you if and when you need a shoulder.

Did you talk to them? You could get them in trouble of some sort if they didn't let you off for this. I bet this is another reason why it's better to work in Europe...they give you time off for these things, as any moral place to work should.

I miss Corky. At least we got to party with her one last time, hey?

I agree - talk to Jen. While I'm pretty certain they are not obliged to give you time off, they would be well out of order to not do so... It's a FUNERAL for fucks sake!

Be brave, go talk to them and I'm sure you will feel better!

My daughter is a student at Ripon College. During this past year she got to know Courtney and really liked her. The school is having a canglelight vigil from 445pm-745pm today (Tuesday). At 7pm there will be prayers and an opportunity for people to speak about and share memories of Courtney. Deepest condolences to Courtney's friends and family.
