Snow
Normally I hate snow. It’s not so much that it’s cold (it would be cold anyway), but snow is simply a pain in the ass - especially when you have to function in it. Green Thumb Update
I haven’t written about my garden in a while, so here is my early-autumn Green Thumb Update.

Birthday Presents
I lied when I said I don't want any birthday presents. I do. For my birthday PLEASE bring me all your grocery shopping bags (without holes in them). I accept both paper and plastic bags. If you're coming to Woodberry please DO NOT bring the bags into the restaurant. Leave them in your car for me. Thanks -
Festivities
Friday July 31, I'm trying to get some people together to go out to Woodberry Kitchen for my birthday. I don't want this to be a big deal, but I would like some company. I totally understand for those of you who are not interested or simply can't afford dinner. I won't hold anything against you for saying no... but who is interested?

Green Thumb Update
My garden has been doing pretty darn well over the past few weeks. I have had a ton of ripe tomatoes that are pretty tasty plus two bell peppers. Also I have a TON of basil... I'm going to be making a horde of pesto and freezing it for later. I have taken a bunch of pictures of the garden and I'll have to upload those soon. Also, please let me know ( Read more... ) -

Denver
I enjoyed my trip to Denver even though I didn't spend much time there and didn't get to see the actual city. Colorado is a place that I will have to return someday when I have more time and energy to enjoy it. I loved that you could see the rockies from my hotel with their snow-capped peaks.
