Ahh, Gil-galad. My king: yeah, that's it completely.
Brilliant. Obscure LotR OTP huzzah!

The Silmarillion is rife with this particular subtext. Rife, I tell you! And it goes on for an entire Age. Happy to hear you liked the story. :D

Been swamped with work, alas, and the usual cluster of pre-Christmas parties that continue to eat on my liver and time for the foreseeable future. Ugh. But! Your package went into the post today, so here's hoping it arrives intact.

And ahahahaha! That was v. funny indeed. XD Thanks!

Hi,

snakeling pointed me to this delightful story. I adore LotR, but mostly the fan fic leaves me cold. This, on the other hand, was great! You managed to capture the flavor of Tolkien's style. The whole tone worked perfectly. I love Elrond/Gil-Galad and yeah, it's so there in the subtext. It's always great to find a well written tale -- there really are so few.

Thanks.
