My Dad just sent another letter - only this time, he wasn't trying to tick me off about something makes a bloody change.

He's just offered to give me the money to buy a flat.

What the hell is he up to?

He's old fashioned, but he's not *that* old fashioned.

Besides, I might be living under your roof, but we're not 'living together', at least not in that way. So even if he was against that sort of thing, that couldn't be it you muppet!

That's what I meant. Not that we're 'living together', but that we're living together. I know some old folks who wouldn't like that.
