i have done something I've never wanted nor had the ability to do in my entire life--I have spent money. Copiously, remorselessly spent money with absolutely no inhibition. I could actually track my wallet shrinking in volume. The only disgust I can feel is disgust that I don't feel disgust about it. Any of it. I should be wracked with guilt. I

But I know how you feel aout spending money...I'm so ridiculously cheap; I refuse to buy anything over $10 or that isn't over 40% off

It may be a lot of money, but look at all the fizzle you got !!
Also think of how much LESS it would have been had you not gotten the tablet, and the tablet you had to get. You were always going to have to get one and sooner simply turned into later.
And I'm sorry to say it but right now all I feel like doing is spending d'argent so I maybe difficult to live around me whilst on the money fast. Kind of like going to Nanny's and being on a diet.
