Wow, this is brilliant…although I feel a bit bad saying that considering what happened…but what I mean is it’s well written and just totally drew me in, I haven’t been so desperate for an update in ages!

All your efforts to keep them in character paid off, Ianto especially. I love the ways in which you demonstrated his strength of character and his unbreakable resolve. His devotion to Jack is pretty intense, and I can't wait to read how the dynamics of their relationship changes.
As I noticed from your other Torchwood fanfiction, your style reflects what I imagine the camera angles to be if your story was an episode. The small details in their actions and facial expressions really captures the tv series.

On a side note, I love the actual side effects which comes from unprepared sex. The real consequences are necessary and the reactions from both Ianto and Jack are very in character. Your ability to keep a realistic approach on the plot while fascinating the reader is wonderful :) Not many fanfics can do so.

Hee. I do kind of write fics like they're episodes, don't I? :P I'm not quite sure why I do that. To ease you guys in, I guess.

Nothing annoys me more than people who write shoddy rape fics. If they're not realistic, I can't handle reading them. Which is bitchy, but...whatever. I'm glad this read as in-character--this is a scenario that I hope we NEVER EVER EVER get in the canon, though.
