We have somewhere between one and two inches of fresh snow on the ground today. I think I'll wait just a little while longer before taking my scooter out of the garage.

What kind of scooter do you have?

I bought license for my Yamaha XT250 yesterday and rode it to work today. It was nice to get to ride it, if only for a short distance.

It's a Daelim S-Five - it's got a 49.5cc engine, and has a speed limiter. 4.8hp engine, as far as I understand - on flat road, without headwind, it will do 28 mph (though I think there is some variation from vehicle to vehicle, as I see in online fora, some people get much better uphill performance than I ever did - and there is a fair amount of uphill around here).
