iTunes question

Anybody know if there is some way of forcing iTunes to accept that a specific set of songs belong to the same album? iTunes is currently importing my music collection, and with some albums insists on songs being in separate almbums (in the case of The Civil War TV soundtrack, it insists on splitting it into 23 distinct albums).

How I do it is to highlight all of them and select "Get Info". Then go to the Info tab and type the Album name you want. Then press OK. I then go and select all of one cd (Disk 1, etc) and do the same thing, except type "1" of whatever in the Disc number.

Hope that helps.

Not quite, I'm afraid - I still get things like this, where one song is picked out and sorted out of order (can be quite disconcerting in case of soundtracks):

I ran into this a while back importing a bunch of soundtracks, and I don't remember exactly how I fixed it....I think there is a check box that says something like "this is part of a collection" or something like that?

Thank you very much - that did the trick (with the exception of the Drinking With Wolves songs, which refuse to join into a single album - I assume there must be an error with the one file).
