Erik is the best boyfriend ever. We had an amazing Valentine's Day. He got me flowers, a card, a dozen bunny eggs, gourmet brownies, penguin stuff, and a digital camera - and then he cooked me a delicious dinner. I love him. I wish I had done more for him than just bake him some cookies... next year

No progress since sunday. Work + School leaves no time for tiling. I'll resume tomorrow.

Seriously, though (okay, you can seriously keep him, too), all of my favorite gifts have been the little things, so don't sweat the cookies.

I've given, and received, things that would be considered "huge" by most gift-comparisons, but my favorite gift EVAR is still a simple candle in the shape of a train by someone that used to be my fiance. It was something that no one else could have thought of. ;)

I'll take the little gift that has some heartfelt meaning or is just completely unexpected any day.

Erik did well, but don't doubt the power of homemade cookies. Besides, you make damn good cookies! More importantly, it's the little things that you give him every day that matter - like your love and caring and compassion - and cookies, of course. ;)
