This year I finally attended the Highland Games, thanks to Brian. It's something that I always contemplated but never did. His family are registered members of Clan Johnston/e, and his dad is the clan sponsor so he's in charge of setting up the tent at the Highland festival, among other things. So, the new job is going really well. I like it a lot, and the people are all wonderful. It is a little strange, being contracted, as there really isn't much in the way of job security and I'm not used to that. So, we moved all of our things into the house last week (we = Brian and I) but the bathroom wasn't quite done yet, so we've still be sleeping at my mom's. Today was my day off this week, and it was also the day Will was able to go by and finish the remodeling, so I spent the whole day unpacking/fixing things up. Things with the house are progressing well enough. We got the kitchen and living room painted as well as most of the spare bedroom. The contractor was supposed to have the bathroom done by now, but he hasn't started yet... Bryan's been in the hospital all week. He's had constant, debilitating headaches for over a week that no pain medication would help, so they were afraid (despite 3 MRIs ruling it out) that he had some sort of brain bleed going on. The past three weeks have been so incredibly busy I don't even know where to start. Adam's surprise party went off better than I expected, and (I think) everyone had a really good time.
