I think you're right. It is percussive.

But it does have strings.

Bingo. Although the strings produce the sound, the strings are played by being struck with hammers. Also, the strings are then left to play a note, unlike a violin or fiddle or cello, which you play with a bow.

i have a question, is their such a thing as people who write nonsense and pretend to have depth? what about stupid people? people who may be convinced that because they can't understand it that is "so amazing". i don't mean to come off as a jerk, but i'm simply questioning. i'm a skeptic. think about it today, and if you have the tomorrow.

By "seemingly-normal" I meant when you wrote more in first person, telling things that happened. I suppose, now, you still are doing that [from a different point of view, of course.] Hm.
