Two rare book finds for Boy's birthday gift=Girlfriend win!!!!

School was okay, I went to both of my classes plus my internship.... Yeah.  Tonight I am studying with Jessica if I can ever get dressed.  LOL

I move in nine days.  whoop!

I'm pretty depressed about school starting tomorrow!  I am bummed that I have to drive back to College Station and start all this craziness up again.  This was a really good Spring Break.   I had no idea that even a little 3 day trip would make such a difference.  I am also really excited that the Boy and I get to move in 10 days! I found this audiobook in the West Campus library.  It is amazing.  It's written and recorded by the former captain of the USS Benfold, Navy Captain D. Michael Abrashoff.  He is a great and innovative leader and so far, I love his view on how to be a caring officer who comes up with creative solutions to accomplish the mission.

omg I stumbled upon a new band I love

It's called Ratatat and they are instrumental post rock, guitar and synth... and they have some awesome beats.

get on songza and search them.  I love their track from 9 beats called "track 01"

Come to think of it, it's all awesome.  I mean, they were awesome enough to play at the Guggenheim.  That = awesome.

I designed a pair of lovely Scandinavian mittens today and I started on them already, using white and a really pretty purple color of Berocco Ultra Alpaca.  They are so soft, and they are going to be so nice.  Unfortunately, they will probably be too big for me, so The Boy is getting purple mittens!   YAY!
