I'm going to Hong Kong! Michelle lives there, so I'm going to visit her over winter break. I'll stay in Hong Kong for part of the trip, and we're also going to go to Beijing for part of the trip. I went on this 18 hour cruise with work 2 weeks ago and forgot to put sunscreen on my legs, so I got pretty much the worst sunburn of my life. It's stopped hurting and itching, so now it's just peeling off...I'll just pull off chunks of my skin at a time, which is kind of gross. So, I met my mentors for summer research on Tuesday and one is Canadian and the other is Australian, so they have awesome accents! So, I totally didn't know this before, but it seems that people in small town northern Wisconsin really hate Illinoisians, like a lot.
