went out with some friends to a venue called the smell in downtown LA last night. went to see narrows, which has some members of an old metal-core band called botch. also discovered a local hardcore act called dangers. narrows was amazing, but it was great to see a positive hardcore act with politically-tinged lyrics that still get kids worked up.
