in the past few days i have learned more about video codecs than i would have ever really liked to. but i have come to the decision that i should not seek out a job as a professional editor, and i should really think about investing in a mac (in the breakup, the mac went with my ex and consequently so did final cut... so im trying to make the best

I guess acting in porn is a double-edged sword: you get to act in porn, but you also get jaded enough to fast-forward through the sex scenes and analyze the plot when you watch porn. Glad to hear ONDK came out so well though!

hah. yes, yes it is. but i can still watch the amateur stuff. if i dont know the people, its way better to jerk to.

in answer to your first question: it hasnt really seemed to affect my career at this point. but ive never been a-list porno talent. i had one year off in school when i was trying to do porn full time but i was just starting out and not known enough to get booked on a regular basis. since then, ive been a full time student and so i can only work a couple times a week at most. so there seems to be enough companies who shoot me on that kind of sporadic basis

well, i graduate school in december. at that point i will probably be trying to ease myself out of doing porn as a profession. i dont really want to put a timeframe on it at this point, but the plan is not to stay in as talent for too much longer.

same goes for shooting porn. im not gonna say that i wont ever do it, but its definitely not a professional goal.

as for people who have recognized me. lately its just been kids i go to school with or see at a party. weirdest times were at a flower store where some guy was eating a burrito and said he knew me from somewhere, then followed it up with "you had sex with shyla stylez"... other time i was in nordstroms and some little old guy asked if i was an actor, and then said he liked my work with a "wink." nothing too bizarre i guess.
