So I decided to try something new and contribute to a Christmas charity this year. A girl I work with volunteers with Big Brothers/Big Sisters in Ann Arbor and they are having an Adopt-A-Person program. I know you are dying for a BMX bike Jon!! :)

My senior lady wants (and I'm seriously getting teary-eyed thinking about it) a sweater (preferably pink or blue), hand towels, a fitted sheet set, and a saucepan.

I would cry for sure if I had to deliver the gifts myself. Sometimes when I see old people out eating by themselves or sitting on a bench somewhere alone, I want to go over and ask if they need a granddaughter.

Yeah I was a little surprised at their gift requests. I was under the impression that these were things the people needed like toys or clothes or household items. But not every 16 year old needs an ipod.

kids can go work at burger king, save up, and buy a fucking ipod.
