I am obsessed with boxed hashbrowns by betty crocker. I went to get some the other day due to a craving. And I noticed that my normal hashbrown product is now made restaurant style. I tried to get a free ink cartridge. cuz i wasted like half of one cleaning the nozzle heads. stupid printer still sucks. anyways, so i complained and they didnt give me any free stuff. wtf is happening???

I'm glad someone else agrees with me. I emailed Betty Crocker myself and they emailed me the same message. Today, I happened to go to my local Houchens store and they still had them. For how long, I don't know. I had to pay an extra .79 cents, but I bought 3 boxes. May have to go back this weekend and buy the rest.

I'm so glad you agree. I've been eating the old style for as long as I can remember, its an old childhood favorite and a new drunken favorite...lol. I did buy out all the ones left in my Bruno's store down the street. But I want more!!!! sob, sob, sob.

I agree with you 100% about the hashbrowns. I have also been obsessed trying to find them and believe me you cannot find them in the stores. Thank you for the Betty Crocker company information that you provided. I emailed them and voiced my opinion too. Why try to improve something that is already great and needs no improving? It makes no sense!
I am so disappointed in the new hashbrowns and will no longer buy these new Restaurant Sytle Hashbrowns, they are terrible!!

The new ones are terrible, I totally agree. I wish they would bring the old ones back and sell the new ones too. Oh well, I guess I did all I could do. Glad you are voicing your opinion as well.

Did you try the ones from the Betty Crocker web site? Are they the same as the "old" recipe that we loved?

not anymore, they ran out and now only sell the new crappy ones. I am still so annoyed with them. I have yet to find a brand of hashbrowns that I like.
