One year ago today...

... my life came to an end. Of course, that is metaphorical, but not for my beloved missredd. She passed away from a deep-vein thrombosis that led to a pulmonary embolism. This is a fancy way of saying she died from a blood clot. One minute she and I were holding each other and the next, she was gone. missredd was 27 years old and in relatively good health

The shock, horror and injustice of what seems an entirely preventable demise in one so young, with so much promise.. I can not get over myself, I can not imagine what you go through. My heart goes out to you, and her family. I didn't know her well, I can still see her in my minds eye. I miss her too.
