It always seems like others manage to let go relatively easily, usually, generally speaking. So why the hell do I always have to obsess over people for years before being able to really move on? Argh.

(edit: to clear up any possible confusion, this post isn't about Debbie, and she and I have not broken up or anything)

1. Perhaps other people are constituted differently.

2. Perhaps it's all an act, and underneath everybody hurts just as much and doesn't show it.

I guess it's probably the latter, but sometimes I just don't understand how anybody can possibly bury that kind of feeling.

I think it's that sometimes people bury their feelings by keeping busy or finding someone new so that it seems like they're over it. Maybe they've even convinced themselves that they're over it. Also a lot of people are sort of shallow and don't think about deep things so they don't really realize that they aren't over that person from years ago even though it's still effecting them.(or is the correct word affecting. ahhh I don't know it's too early for my brain to know.)
