Lupus Awareness

Many of you are aware that I have had lupus for 43 years and that it is severe. May is Lupus Awareness month and this coming Friday, the 18th, has been designated "Put on Purple Day." (Purple is our color or bracelets and things.) Many of our cousins have fibromyalgia or similar illnesses, so putting on purple, even if only something like earrings

Thank you for posting this; I hadn't heard. My grandmother had lupus (undiagnosed until it killed her). A good friend's mother has it.

I'll be in purple.

I am partial to these wristbands. I'll wear some tomorrow. Everytime someone comments on them I give them one.
