Today my big toe starting making a popping sound when I walk. I have lots of problems (arthritis, seismoiditis) on my other foot, this one's just been acting up this year. I'm keeping it up tonight and I guess I'll try to keep off it this weekend. We'll see how I do; I was hoping to do some house stuff tomorrow ( Read more... )

I have a firm "indoor cat" policy, for their health and safety, and for the songbird/small animal population. Bertie and Torii like to go outside, but they do so on a leash and harness or in a portable pen.

I take Bertie for short walks in the neighborhood on his leash. He loves sniffing around and I love the looks we get.

I don't mind at all, I'm flattered. That's Pippi, our youngest. She was born in our neighbor's garage. She likes tuna fish and ear plugs and does not like to be picked up.

I LOVE the cat picture! It's just gorgeous, honestly - the subject is adorable and I like how the cat is off-center in the frame. I'd love to have a print of that one.

The subject being off-center was just a luck of cropping - Pippi was right next to the TV (it's her favorite place to sit) and I didn't want the TV to show.
