So, let's think about this. Who is the target market? Are they saying that unsuspecting happy cafe goers should buy this car for would be terrorists?

Dude. I don't think that word means what you think it means. It wasn't a "fail" if the advertiser just got you to publish their ads free-for-nothing!

Having said that, since Apple's always in fashion, how about the "She's a Rainbow" iMac campaign?

Back in the late '90's there was a Nike commercial which featured slow-motion clips of a very fit older guy running. There'd be a clip of him, then a cut to a title card text on it that read "Has run 250 marathons", "Earned 53 gold medals during his track carrier", and so on.

Near the end a title card came up that read "HIV positive."

Sue was sitting next to me, and we both started yelling "Nooooo!"

When the inevitable card came up reading "Just Do It", we both started screaming, "That's How He GOT IT!"

I don't believe I ever saw that ad again.
