Recently, one of my friends posted a poll about LJ wondering about the state of the service. He opined that everyone had forgotten about polls. In the course of answering him I decided that I need to post my comment in my main thread as well in order to reach a bigger audience ( Read more... )

I personally don't care how people post as long as they post. ONTD is a thriving community where people still post whether you like it or not. There are also very good reasons for people to have private journals, and I don't think they care whether you're disappointed in them or not. I guess there has to be one person like you in every group!

It's nice to see a post in this community! I think only two of my friends post. I stopped FB and Twitter some time ago. It just seems as if people's attention span is dwindling. The art of conversation is waning. But just like vinyl, it will come back at some point.

I’ll admit to falling off the LJ wagon over the past couple of years. Some of it was due to scheduling, other because of content, and a bit because of accessibility. I’m less likely to log in from a traditional computer, now more from my phone. App issues have also contributed to my absence.
