The small tree in my patio lit up like a Christmas tree when a light from the alley hit it at night. Truly an amazing sight.
When I looked at it in the daylight, I saw that each tiny leaf had ice encasing it -- a lot of ice for one tiny leaf. How on earth do they hold up?
I love your description. I'm glad we can see the beauty in all things, even nature's hazards.
