Years ago Seattle had a vegetarian restaurant called Cafe Ambrosia. I just rediscovered my notes on a menu item they had that particularly amused me:

Bonny Doon Framboise - The rendering into fluent liquid form the Platonic idea of raspberry.

I guess "raspberry-flavored beer" was too banal.

Thanks to this morning's fog, there was a part of my commute over the bridge in which I could see no ground, no water, and no sky. I was driving on a small section of roadway that started and ended in mist.

Neat.

Last weekend was a busy one. Friday night was spent learning my lines for a wedding that I was invited to officiate with only a couple days' notice.
