what i wish for myself

it reminds me a lot of a collection of poems that my professor's friend wrote as he was dying of cancer, which my german class translated to english in my last semester at oberlin. the poems are called "was ich mir wünsche" or "what i wish for myself" by thomas brasch.

anyway what i'm getting at, is that i have had 20 copies of the english translation sitting in my living room for the past two years and i'd be happy to send you one if you want.
