So my HOD comes to me asking me if I got her email about doing a Professional Development Course on Gifted Education Mentoring. Before I could say, I'm not really interested, she added, Oh, the Principal really wants you to do it. Well, couldn't really say no after that. I guess it's not that I don't want to do it, it's just that I have sooo much on my plate right now, I don't know what is left and right O___o;;;. But I guess with this course I will give me qualifications to run the Gifted and Talented Program in school. Also, I should be thankful to have the Principal's support to do this program as it is 4 days and costs a lot of money to do. Although there is a crap load of course work I have to do with it. When the hell do I have time to do that?
I was also given a new class to teach this week. I was basically taken off my grade 8 ESL English class and given a new class. So the class I did prepare work for was for nothing. Well, not really nothing as I did give the work to the teacher who took over my old class. I was fortunate that my other colleagues had work I could use from them for this new class I suddenly had to teach.
On an unrelated note, trixie_chick is incredible on so many level X3~. Give me a piece of your brain, even it's a small bit!
I so need to sleep! Right, off to do laundry.
