Hi, my name is Pippin! I live with a lady not much bigger than I am, but who helps me feel safe and loved. She has very fluffy blankets on which I've dutifully deposited large amounts of fur sheddings, and lots of windows to look out of. I think I'm about three years old, but don't remember much about my life before I found my forever home. I

Lately my mommy has been putting a chain on me and making me go outside. I don't like to go outside by myself, but it is fun and exciting when I go outside with the chain on. Sometimes we get in the car, and I can sleep in the back seat. When we park, I can sniff out the crack in the window and bark. I like to bark at people who might come near my car. Only *my* humans are allowed near *MY* car.
Sometimes we just walk up and down near our house, and I can smell many things. I like smelling new things, but it's scary if there are other dogs who bark at me!
Most of the rest of the time, I like to sleep! My daddy says I am a World Champion Sleeper! Imagine that!
I think you will have a lot of cuddles with Miss Shirebound!

You need to take good care of her-- she deserves a lot of puppy-love, to make up for all the years she waited to find you!
((((hugs to Pippin and to Shirebound))))

I let my human sleep on the bed with me, too (some dogs say you shouldn't spoil your human like that, but I it's all right to, just a little). I like to snuggle up next to her under the covers and rest my head on her belly - it's really nice and warm. I try to stay close to my human right now and keep an eye on her, because she seems to be broken somehow. I don't want my human to be broken, so I try to do what I can to help her get whole again.
Let me know if you need any pointers on how to train a human! Just remember, friendly nuzzles and tail wags go a lot longer than growls!

I think our humans are very lucky to have us snuggling with them, especially when they're broken or need someone to talk to. I move my ears in all kinds of directions when she talks, or I hear anything at all. Can your ears move around like that?
*good morning nose-licks*
