I'm so glad it's spring-like today. A little nippy, but Quinn and I still went out and blew bubbles.

My uncle Irv comments

There was a time set aside in Uncle Irv's wonderful memorial service for comments from anyone who wanted to share. (Uncle Gary, also a schoolteacher, told us afterwards that Irv had insisted "Make sure they're quick. Two minutes max, or you take a zero." Some of us would have taken a zero on the assignment.) Uncle Irv died

Uncle Irv died at 0500 today. Funeral probably Tuesday or Wednesday. Dad and his wife are flyin' out for a week, and they'll get to come up and see Quinn, which is good since when Dad was here last week, he saw Quinn for all of about 15 minutes.

For those of you keeping score at home, that's 13 days from when they first found out how bad it was.
