im such a sucker for foreshadowing ;) did you catch all the instances of the little integral-like symbol? it was in the dead indian guy's code, and also in the upper right corner of the politican's stick-figure doodle, and in lots of the junkie artists paintings, and even snuck into the suburban crime scene house (the pool had a floating rope with buoys that formed the symbol). freeeeaky....
Yeah, that was awesome. Even more than the characters I like the fact that they're really setting up a good, long running storyline (I'm a sucker for TV shows with coherent long term plot, hence my love of B5, for example).
I didn't notice that symbol anywhere except in the thing on the computer... I'll have to look again.
I also got the impression that, given the fact that the big ugly murder scene with the LA cop had a variety of different bad things happening to people (freezing, buncha knives, and such), there might be the implication that there are multiple bad guys running around and working together, which could be interesting.
