An amazing legal decision this week when the Supreme Court of Western Australia gave a quadriplegic man the right NOT to be fed by his carers so that he could die, legal euthanasia in fact. Quite a remarkable decision given that NOT to provide the necessities of life is a criminal offence.

Another warning from toshiba.. it's about that flimsy little tray that plops out from the side of the laptop where you put cds and dvds in.
"Always keep fingers away from the sides of the tray when closing to avoid pinching fingers".

I bought a new toshiba laptop today and the safety instructions issue this very uselful warning;
"Never drive a nail or any other sharp object into the battery pack, hit battery pack with a hammer or other object or step on it . . ."
It was soooo close.. I had a 6" nail ready and was about to swing the claw hammer when I read that !

I go to Freo a couple of times a week for court. I get there early so I can sit out and enjoy a cooked breakfast in the mall which is always pleasant . . watching the world go 'round..Fremantilians are always entertaining.
