Ah the Holidays...
So we survived the Holidays with the Family in Illinois. In fact we more than survived it, we had a great time. An Automated slap, say what now?
Um... Dear Weight Watchers your automated online system gave me waggled finger this morning, a correctional slap if you will. Ya see I've lost "too much" weight this week, so the system gave a paragraph long lecture and predicted doom and gloom for my weight loss future... Very supportive, or not. Zombies and Samurai's oh my!!

In the last couple of days I've digested some fairly interesting media..
First I picked up and read the new King novel "Cell".
This is a Zombie story and all in all it's pretty good. As I have often felt with Kings recent works it left me feeling like there is a much larger story that should have been told, but for some reason he just did not ( Read more... ) -
Dec. 7th
Today is a great day to be mindful of all the men and women that have given their lives in defense of our Nation. Whatever your feelings on War and "The War" leave them behind today, today tip your hat (so to speak) in memory and thanks to those that fought and died.

A sad sight, and fond memories
Today I saw a truly sad thing on the way to work.. Really it tears me up.. I saw a 1966 Chevelle (fire engine red and very much restored) all crunched up.. Oh the humanity!! Weight loss and the Holidays
So... losing weight in the sphere of the holiday season is damn difficult. Pre-thanksgiving parties, the big day, and all the post TG events are killing me..
