Student teaching is going pretty well so far. It's nice being in a school full-time to see all the "behind the scenes" action and observing/interacting with students on a full time basis. My cooperating teachers are very nice, but both have different styles and they clash quite a bit with each other.

When do you start student teaching?

I forget who said this but I always thought it sounded true...

"language fosters reality"

Without creating concepts that help us divide the world into understandable entities, then we truly are left very limited. I sometimes liken a thought or idea to a piece of raw meat. And writing is the process through which we season, tenderize, cook and then are able to enjoy (or not enjoy) what we are left with.

I liked your post and I am glad to hear whats going on in your life. This is my first post onto anything LJ related in a long time. But obviously, I still check occasionally just out of habit.

Now I see why you were feeling nostalgic!

Thanks for the nice text messages. I definitely agree that livejournal fostered writing for a lot of us, and it's a good idea to get it going again... I may just join you. Happy teaching. :)
