Wow, you really whumped Sam and did so very, very well. I could feel her bleakness when she thought that her captivity and torture would never end because you did such a great job writing that. Wonderful rescue.

Oh my.

I was really struck by the way you described her memories--she thinks of scents or intangibles with her team because it hurts to much to picture them. Or the memories she relives that are grey instead of colored.

You always pick up the details that were the hardest to write :) When I was writing I was worried I wasn't putting enough of the rest of the team in it, then I realised that Sam herself might not be thinking about the guys, self preservation perhaps and in that situation, dwelling on the memories of loved ones might have been overkill.
