Petitemiel, thanks for another fascinating chapter. Ennis and Jack are getting into deeper friendship all the time. And Ennis realizes the danger of that if others notice. Seeing Jack taking a bath certainly left Ennis wide eyed and hot blooded. Fighting temptation is going to be very difficult now.

This was great, I was surprised though. I thought it'd be Jack walking in on Ennis in the bath. These two are irresistable! I hope Ennis fixes that rickety bench soon! AND am loving Jack teaching Ennis to read, very sweet (loving) thing to do, and the carving . . .these two are carrying out a courtship right under the nose of all those men. .and they (Ennis and Jack) are not yet fully aware of what they are doing. I love this story. You are doing such a good job of developing their friendship/relationship as well as painting an interesting picture of ranch life in the old days. I'm anxious to see how they are going to deal with this growing and undeniable attraction. Thanks for writing this. S!
