Just want to say a quick thank you to everyone who gave feedback so far. I really appreciate it. I was having so much trouble with this chapter for some reason but I'm glad to know that it worked OK. Just goes to show you that you can't always be objective about your own work. LOL

Yes the temptation is getting harder(no pun intended)for them both to deal with and may cause a few bumps in the road but in the end I'm sure they'll work it all out.

Sweet how the boys always keep an eye out for each other, especially Ennis getting nervous and looking for Jack. And boy, did he find him, lol.

MM, I like the way they are becoming slowly aware of their feelings, it feels like it's out of their control, which is more believable I think. I like this a lot,

Jack naked would be awfully tempting and I am not sure that Ennis's resolve is going to last long.

You show the developing friendship of the boys in an original and interesting way - I really enjoy reading your story.

Oh wow, what a gorgeous ending! I was wondering all along if Jack was taking a bath and if Ennis would walk in on him. I so love how you're writing this story, all of it is just lovely to read. You have a really lovely descriptive writing style :)
Aw, I loved Ennis's wood carving gift, it made my heart melt and I love how Ennis is always so aware of Jack and just doesn't feel happy when Jack isn't around.
I don't quite see how you couldn't be pleased with this chapter :) It was beautiful to me :)

I think I was more frustrated then displeased actually. I had the whole chapter written when I posted Chapter 6 but upon re-reading it I realized I need to change something because the timing was off for certain events. I rearranged some things and then it just didn't seem to flow as well so I began to fiddle with it trying to correct that but it became very frustrating. I almost scraped the whole thing at one point. In the end I removed one scene all together for use in a future chapter and rewrote several sections of the current one.

I guess it was all of that that left me feeling unsure of the chapter and not entirely at ease with it. Fortunately chapter 8 has practically written itself (so far at least). Hopefully that will continue. Thanks for the comments.
