I don't really like writing the tennis in Prince of Tennis. Sportswriting is first of all ludicrously far out of my comfort/knowledge zone, complicated by the fact that it's... not actually real sports.

The Canyons, on sororial unit's Apple TV. Through the first scene you're like "Wow what have I gotten myself into," but then you keep watching. Left out a couple of items from last week's, actually:- Also watched the Rurouni Kenshin movie at Fantasia, finally. Loved it. It was better than the anime. And it's not even the Kyoto Arc! Tanith Lee, The Book of the Dead (Secret Books of Paradys #3). Found used, chowed through these stories in short order. Going for, I don't know, not Poe but Poe as translated by Baudelaire back-translated into English, or some of the weirder efforts by Maupassant or Wilde or Henry James.
