Petrus smiles. "Shall I wake? How would I do such a thing?" Aryn says, "How do you ever wake? Open your eyes." Petrus blinks, as if the statement startles him. Once, twice, then... he disappears.
Kincaid joins in on the shot and nods, "My thoughts exactly." Petrus says, "Well, this is quickly turning into a one horse race. Only the horse has Cholera." Petrus waves a hand, mildly. "And it's on fire."
Desirata hikes an eyebrow. "I can assure you that we have no intent on siding with the Road, Petrus. But it seems that there are a great many changes afoot, and very little response. Have you met my uncle Julian?"
Petrus says, "No, but I have heard many flattering things about him. He is well loved, they say. Children pave his path with flowers."
I've had this discussion with a lot of people recently. So I do the cheesy thing and LJ post about it and solicit your thoughts.
What's better? A gift you rarely use for IC reasons, or a gift you get to use frequently? A gift that is very powerful, or a gift that is very colorful?
