My Stardust Melody, Chapter 10

Mar 28, 2012 20:10

"It seems my fiancé has been a busy boy," Julian observed mildly.  He stepped forward into the solarium, and Luke could see the harsh angles of his narrow face.  Julian's grey hair had been swept straight back away from his temples, emphasizing what had once been a ruggedly handsome face.  His smile was tight against his teeth.  ( Read more... )

I think you win the award for longest string of O's I've seen in a comment, lol. Yeah, you nailed Damian on the head this time. Completely.

Now, stop crying--you know I only do happy endings!

Thank you!

Wow you've written a huge mess to clean up. You're going to need a shop vac and a mop for all the blood, sweat and tears spilled in this chapter.

I'll be rooting for Kansas. I hope to see UK and KU in the championship.

Yeah, it's one huge mess. The first 9 chapters were so slow because I really had to hammer home that emotional connection so that I could take the biggest wrecking ball to their lives that I could think of. You're right, we'll definitely need a shop vac, lol.

I'll be pulling for KU to beat OSU this weekend--I hate OSU (in addition to being a UK fan, I'm also a lifelong Michigan fan). Amazingly, I managed to pick all the final four teams but UL this year in my bracket.

Woo Hoo we are some happy girls, though I'm sure my fingernails are much shorter than yours after the Kansas victory.

Kentucky is the class of the NCAA this year. Kansas will have to have their best game ever to stay close on Monday.

UL made me nervous for about 5 minutes in the 2nd half, but after that, no serious worried. I thought KU was finished when OSU got out to such a big lead. So, congrats to KU!

I'm always glad when UK plays such great programs as KU in the tourney. It always makes for fun games. This is the first UK team in years that I've felt so good about--it will definitely be tough for KU (but not impossible).

OMG... This IS a mess! And Damian, being his evil self. It's SO good! Hope you'll find time to write more soon!

Thanks, Syl. It's a mess, but it's fixable...eventually. I've got some stuff already written, but I'm guessing it will be a solid week before I post again. I made rather substantial change to a large part of the plot, so I need to do some thinking and a little rewriting.

Thank you. Nothing beats having the boys try to wreck each other's lives to stir up a little drama (even if they didn't mean to).

Who says I'm fixing anything? Just kidding.

It's a debacle, no doubt. Poor guys. Fingers crossed, I can fix this.
