ok
so in all this post i got that some people are in a christian crusade again by protestin that a war is necessary bc "we" the christians are bein persecuted in the mid east
let me ask somethin
i support the war on the basis of this guy and guys they go after have done some horrible things why let them run rampant and possibly hurt more people
why should a crazed animal be let free to roam around when it has already hurt people
well now you can tear me a new one thunder so go ahead
i know you want too

well, thats a valid argument dougie, but, you forget, that was like number ten on the list of reasons to go to war. only NOW is the administration, after having the WMD/link to al qaeda argument being proved TOTALLY false saying that human rights, the spread of democracy is the reason for the war. it really amazes me how its possible to just change the reason of a war half way through it, and people believe it!

love,
astronaut jones

I'm siding with Evan on this one. Every week, it seems, the war has a new purpose. WMDs, spread of democracy, cheesy toast is better than plain toast, whatever. Just admit why you really went to war and quit coming up with a new excuse every other week. It's getting pathetic.

it IS getting pathetic. thats the only way to put it. i think finally people are gonna start opening their eyes. bush has like a 40% approval rating or something. whether or not the democrats can get their heads out of their collective ass by '08 is anyones guess. but i think its safe to say there WONT be another neocon in the white house.

As for the democrats, I believe they are gonna push Hilary in '08, so you can take that how you want it. But, in a plus for the democrats, it will be the first year since Bill left that all of the democrats are pushing one sinle candidate hard. This year, before the primaries, the democrats had like 6 people who HONESTLY had a shot at being the democratic candidate. Not so in 08, almost 90% backing of Hilary.
