Even though I'm a huge gamer, I rarely play mobile games. I don't know what it is. I have nothing against the more casual tone, in fact I think it's more up my alley than ever before. I've been a fan of Windows XP ever since it came out, more than a decade ago. I still run it at home. Imagine my surprise when I learned April 8, 2014 was going to be the first day Microsoft stopped supporting XP. All good things must come to an end, I suppose. I beat Risk of Rain last night and it was a lot of fun. Beating hard games where you need to manage a lot of randomness and unexpected stuff that can fall on your head. Just like in real life. Is it just me or do dates look a little like cockroaches? A date's outer skin has some resemblance to the luster of their wings. It leaves something to be desired when eating dates.

I reached into my old laptop bag to put up a mouse and pulled out a bag of haw flakes that I had stuffed in there during my last visit to Austin. Awesome! Contrary to this article describing them as the second coming of pure evil, I actually like haw flakes.

I just finished Radiant Silvergun and it was as good as I thought it'd be. A true shooter classic. Better than Ikaruga in many regards, I'd say.

Also, I wonder if it's an issue when mouth wash starts to taste like BBQ sauce.

I'm excited, I'm finally going to start playing Radiant Silvergun in earnest. I've waited 10+ years to play this game, ever since I learned about it all those years ago. I didn't have the money then.
