I was doing pretty good with not being employed. I think it was because I was getting over the stress of studying for the bar, the high of passing the bar, and the happiness of having a life. All of that has worn off. I haven't gotten any responses back from the jobs I've applied for. Federal jobs ask that you don't follow up. Kind of don't ( Read more... )

I dislike holidays and my birthday. I always feel depressed. I think it dates back to my undergrad years. It seemed like my grandpa would be feeling well during most of the time and then he would be in the hospital for those times. I'm planning on doing some stained glass projects for Christmas. Timmy has owed me a glass grinder for about a year now. Today he let me buy the one I wanted. At the same time, he bought me a glass band saw to make cutting quicker. What a sweety! I was feeling blue and he wanted to make me happier. Should make glass projects much quicker. ( Read more... )

So I'm still without a job. I've been applying for a lot of federal jobs. It takes a while to hear from them one way or another. Unfortunately Tim is losing his job on Oct. 23.
