By mutual agreement, my position as teaching aide has been terminated. My duties included policing the class without taking things personally. I was unable to do either in an efficient, effective manner.

I've been functionally sad for most of the day. Its 1:03 now though, I should be heading off to bed. FIrst though I need to do a writing exercise. The last time I did it I nearly fell asleep at hte keyboard. Maybe thisll happen again.

I got a haircut today, fell asleep during a lecture,, checked on the wellbeing of my turtle (the water isn't lean enough for my tastes, but it looks clearer than last night), and some other stuff. I don't feel that well at the moment. I was taking a shower and...my mind just kept wandering back to me in various stages of death and decay. Not very pleasant. Ugh.

I think I know one reason why I'm not terribly afraid of terrorism. In a matter of years I'll be teaching classes mostly made up of people who were born after the fall of the USSR.
