Wednesday May 2Clover arrives at around 8:30 in the morning. She's a morning person so I've gotta stay up all throughout the day like it or not. Oh man, I've been dying to try poutine! I first heard about it last year and there's a place nearby that makes it, but they charge something like $9 a plate. I might as well make a night of it if I'm gonna throw that much down for a plate of cheese fries.

The Basillica's really pretty. I understand that if you want to get married in it, you have to book at least a year in advance.

oh man! If you can get ahold of the cheese curds (which I don't think is easy outside of Montreal) you can make it yourself easily.

But next time you're up here, try it for sure. I also like the apparently inauthentic version of melted cheese which you could make for yourself easily. I bet you that place near you makes that kind of poutine.
