It turns out, as I suspected, many of my fears regarding my girlfriend (I confirmed the title this morning with her) were mostly the product of my imagination which was kindled about a month ago when my mother's boyfriend quipped, "I hope she feels the same way about you when you return." Actually no. Most of them were okay after a few days but one of them grew in sort of sideways so that was sore for well over a week. Not bad though.

The dentistry was pretty funny actually. Sometimes I had 2-3 appointments a week with different specialists. They all had different styles of administering anesthetic needles too: Dr. Matheson used a cool distraction technique where he shook my lip violently when giving the needle, Dr. Hacker (yes, Dr. Hacker haha) gave it slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-owly for a good 2 minutes so you couldn't tell what was happening, and Dr. Walter went at me like Zorro! After a couple quick needles he said, "You're not going to care much for this one," and slid another into the roof of my mouth. haha Brutal.

At least he had a soft belly I could lean into when he was ripping out my teeth. I could see the tooth as he dropped it on the table. And when it was all over and I was walking back to the lobby I heard another patient cry out, "NO MORE! I can't take any more! You're going to have to put me under." haha sucker. She'll have to pay about $500 more than I did for that extra little bit of pampering.

I had a feeling that it would for a long time but the long hair felt like an accomplishment and I didn't want to give up on headbanging (at least I can still do that a bit).

I think I might look better with even shorter hair too but...not quite ready for that yet.

I don't think you're a big fan of the long chin beard, long hair look and most girls probably aren't in general. I remember your flinching at pictures of metalheads haha

You look great, Eric! It's clear that these aesthetic changes have made you more confident in your physical appearance. Rightfully so! Also, I'm glad that everything is well with you and The Girl. I had a total NOOOOOOO!! moment after your last post, but yay!

Thanks! :) The confidence is the best part. That will help out with all kinds of aspects of life right now: school, The Girl (haha I like that), school, friends, school...

And speaking of, I hope everything's going well with you with school.

And also, isn't "school" a weird looking word? Seriously. Take a second and just look at it. Weird. :p
