I haven't heard from David in a week now. Last known location was San Francisco airport, heading to Vegas to meet up with his LA girlfriend. David offered to let me use his house for laundry purposes, since the machines in my building charge an arm and a leg per load. For some reason I feel awkward about it, but not awkward enough to pass up free laundry, so I chose the happy medium by only going over when he's out of town (he gave me a copy of his house key). Year 2 of teaching is worlds easier than year 1... the first week of school last year, I was so stressed I couldn't eat. This year, I'm far more prepared. As a result, five days in and my classes behave wonderfully, we started the curriculum yesterday, and everything has gone off without a hitch ( Read more... )
