my hand is messed up. I gave a mini-demonstration of the vibraphone in class today, and as I was demonstrating the difference between jazz and concert four-mallet technique, I nearly lost my grip altogether. shiiiiiiit. this is not good.

one more week of playing marimba, and then I am going to take a break for a while. If it's still a problem, or if it comes back when I start playing again, I'll worry more. I know it's connected to how much I've been playing, so if I back off, hopefully it'll clear itself up. I don't have time to go this week, anyway.
