Last night as I was flipping through TV channels completely bored I stumbled accross the show Will & Grace.  It's a comedy that's been on for several years.  Well  what really attracts me to the show is the two of the main chacters, Will and Jack, are gay.  On the show Will and Jack are best friends.  Though they are both gay they are two very ( Read more... )

I haven't seen the show, so I can't say for certain, but you did say that Jack's character flaunted his orientation to a point beyond stereotypes. I'm sure this is just an exageration to make a point, but there are some homosexuals that choose to flaunt their orientation so much that you just want to punch them. Thankfully most gay people I know aren't like that. I don't feel that Jack's character is the norm when it comes to homosexuality. A shame that most people feel that the stereotype is the norm.

On a kinda side note, I hate Ozzie Guillen even more: http://community.livejournal.com/baseball/1155839.html

Here's an illustration to see what Jack's character is like. Picture Jason last summer. There you have Jack. Jack doesn't really flaunt his orientation as much as he is just completely ok with who and what he is. Seriously though, you should check out the show sometime. It's really good.

And I've heard of our dearly beloved White Sox managers's latest stunt. Had a discussion about it with Stopka today. He has since apologized though. He knew exactly which connotation he was intending. For him to say anything else is an insult to our intelligence.

Actually, I would probably avoid comparing Jack to Jason. Jack had a bit more integrity.

A bit? Anything that has the slightest shred of integrity has 110% more than Jason.

For proff, I offer you his harassing comments made in a previous post of mine: http://getyourwings5.livejournal.com/67940.html?view=133732#t133732

Yes, Jack does have a ton more integrity than Jason can ever dream of. It was just an image.

But that was a good line that Jack said wasn't it?

It was a good point. But I'll be honest. Jack can be kind of a prima donna. I have no qualms with Will. I think he's comfortable enough with his orientation for the most part, but it's just his personality to be more subtle.

The finale was awesome.
