I feel sick while reading this article. Just because of everything I read, especially after "Ecology of Commerce", and then the attitude/sarcasm and options this writer presents. Why can't we start working towards a more efficient direction. Of course I am asking for it when I read articles off of MSN. Leave a comment

Well, the writer also seems to be very sarcastic about the whole thing.
"Less dependant on unstable nations" Arabia isn't unstable. They have a huge ruling royal class (maybe too huge) and like the movie Syriana presents- will do anything for us as long as we pamper them with cars, money, and shiney things. (maybe women or boys too)

I think he was also joiking when he said it was an inside joke that we were all far away from stuff like solar panels and so on- its Bush's way of saying- "No, I actually care about the environment... Not!"

I already picked up on the sarcasm. However, towards the end he is still only offering one choice : using up more oil by investing.

and when he was joking about bush's comment he also didnt place in any humor to refute the idea that "Most of those projects are a decade away from viability.". I liked how he pointed out the cost it takes just to process the oil and what it does. But thats about it.
