Ohhhhh...gotta love this comment:

"...guess its hard when both your friends are practically married. But then again, if we were single then it would just be competition"

Second choice?
It's hard when there's another person involved. If Mike and I were around each other more, then I would be more active in wanting to spend time with you as much as I could (but I do that when I am in Sacramento- the reasons why I don't call sometimes is cause I think you're busy doing something) It's also going to be hard because I'm going to be living up in Chico soon and I am going to miss you! I'm gonna try and visit as much as I can, but it will be hard, thus why I keep suggesting you move in with Mike and I when we go to San Jose or wherever.

I'll try and go out and do more things that will allow you to meet more people. We will go to second Saturday more and meet more artist, we will go to conventions and stuff, do more things.

I'm sorry you feel bad, I'll call soon k? I just got internet back ^_^

I don't think it is meant the way you are perceiving it. More so, I am not someone guys really take notice of first. I feel like a background character. Which goes back the comment that sort of irritated me about "competition". But seriously, It was just one of those days I needed to vent and move on.

Thanks for calling me Saturday!! Cheered up my whole day @-->>--- I miss you already! I feel more energized with all the suggestions you listed. I do need to start participating in events that give me the opportunity to meet people.

Hope your house sitting adventure is going well.

Went well! Can't believe he graduated still..all grown up and going off to college. @.@ ! Susan got him a joke gift along with his real one in which she gave him a bag of vegetables. muwahahaha. Everyone had a good laugh at that.

Finally talked with the head boss of carmazzi. They are going to pay me a whole $13 dollars ..meeeh..when they hire me. I just don't know if it's worth it when it takes me 45min-1hr drive with gas prices rising. But at the same time, part of me thinks..well..where else am I going to find a job? I want to be independent.

BBQ eeeh? and art!! at the same time? hehehehe. Sounds like you two are having a good time

I would respectfully disagree and say that a club is one of the primary places one goes to meet people. The only catch is that they tend to not be the kind of people you want to hang out with anyway. Allie and I have met at least a dozen or so people at Barcode, and I wouldn't hang out with more than two of them outside of the club. Allie is right about conventions, strange artists aside, they are good places to meet random droogs. Matt met Jennifer at Yaoicon, for example. And when I mean met, I mean won at an auction.

And when I say won at an auction, I mean she won him.
